Based in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire, ‘Made by REBECCA’ was founded in 2007 and she prides herself on customer care and attention to detail. Rebecca believes that every woman deserves to feel special and nothing will make you feel more so than having an outfit made just for you! As the client, you are the most important person in every project and Rebecca will make sure that you feel confident and relaxed at having put your trust in her to provide for that special occasion.
At the initial free consultation, either from the comfort of your own home or in her workroom, whichever you prefer, Rebecca we talk you through every detail of your outfit, taking into account body shape, colouring, style and budget. Designing your dream dress from scratch, especially for you! Rebecca will take you through every stage of the project from the fabric shopping, to fittings, to the final moment of completion when you can relax and just look forward to when you finally get to wear it!
Rebecca is a London trained Couturier specialising in bespoke bridalwear, evening wear, and corserty. Positively born with a needle in her hand, she has been creating beautiful and original garments from the moment she was old enough to work a sewing machine!
After graduating with honours from the London College of Fashion she then went on to work in Film and Television costume with many credits including Waking the Dead, Primeval, Larkrise to Candleford and, most recently, the BBC’s new sitcom ‘Big Top’ starring Amanda Holden. ‘Made by REBECCA’ were the creators of Sophie Thompson’s clown dress as ‘Plinky the Clown’!
