I am Body Control Pilates trained instructor and FRYOG trained Yoga teacher.  I have been teaching Yoga at the URC since 2004 and Pilates since 2009 as well as teaching at other venues.  I have been teaching in the health and fitness industry for over 10 years and have realized the benefits of both pilates and yoga which combined with walking help me manage a back problem and help cope with the stresses of life.

Pilates can aid spine issues – many people turn to pilates for this reason.  A great deal of  people come to yoga because they are stressed and want to be mobile and healthy.  Experience the benefits !

Venues:

United Reformed Church, Bluebridge Road, Brookmans Park, Herts AL9 7UW

NorthMymms Community Centre, Station Road, Welham Green.

Meeting Times:
Pilates Mondays and Fridays 9.30 am at URC Pilates £8.00 per session, Thursdays 9.30-11.00 am at URC Yoga £6.00 per session

(both payable half termly in advance)

Pilates is a physical and mental programme of strength and flexibility exercises particularly targetting deep postural muscles.  It will help reshape your body improve your posture and release tension.

Limited to 12 places.  All equipment provided.

Improver level.

For beginners small group or one to one sessions will need to be attended before joining.

Yoga has therapeutic benefits develops a supple and healthy body, relieves stress and provides you with the tools to help you relax.

A body mind class involving postures to stretch and tone muscles and breathing and relaxation techniques.  Renewing and invigorating as well as relaxing.  All abilities catered for.  Lovely friendly groups.  All welcome.  Yoga mat required.  1-2 blankets recommended.

Wear comfy layered clothing.
