Marching and Concert Showband.Age Group: Training Band: Aged 8 years to 15 Senior: Showband: Aged 12 to adult.

Meeting Times: Training Band: 7 to 8pm Mondays. Senior Band: 8.00pm to 9.15pm Mondays.
The band’s aim is to create a level of performance to entertain the public, and to give our members the satisfaction of playing music in a highly regarded band.
STREET PARADES: We play in street parades, and local carnivals, as well as events like the Lord Mayors Show in London, Disney Parade in Paris and others.
ARENA DISPLAYS: We perform an entertaining musical and visual show in events from local carnivals to prestige events such as the NFL game at Wembley Stadium!
CONTESTS: We perform in contests both in UK and Europe.
CONCERTS: We produce an annual Christmas Concert and occasional summer concerts.
GIG BAND: We often perform as a static smaller Gig band in garden parties, summer fetes, pub gardens etc.
AWAY TRIPS: Most years we go away as a band on 2 or 3 occasions. These include a spring and autumn training weekend, and often a 5/6 day summer trip in UK or Europe.
SOCIAL & FUNDRAISING: Many romances have blossomed within this sociable band, and we do try to make sure it is a FUN group to belong to! It seems to work for all ages! We have a strong fundraising team who stage several events such as quizzes and BBQs and stalls at local events.
Fees :Around £120 per year. Uniform and most instruments provided free on loan. Instruction, music and leadership is included.
All regular Leaders and Instructors are volunteers and unpaid.
